We present to you a completely new website. Please send us your suggestions regarding the necessary features. Share what you're missing and any difficulties you've encountered. We'll try to incorporate this information into future updates.
I wish that you had just changed the interface rather than the options themselves. Like the comment below I also miss the chance to spend coins to check for errors (and think a single coin for rating a puzzle as the sole source of revenue is a bit miserly - having said that, I don't really know what coins are for, anymore).
The only issue I have is that I really liked the search mechanic from the old site, Is it possible that you could implement the same thing here?
I would LOVE to be able to search by rating. I can see the rating still exists, but not being able to search by them or see them easily in the list or grid mode is a little frustrating.
Please, just give us the old version alongside this one and don't force to switch. It was perfect and I hoped to continue using it. Or, at the very least, add a light/dark version switch. This pitch black page is unusable.
I find the scrolling on large puzzles to be very unpleasant. The scroll functionality is far too sansititve — I'm unable to scroll to the middle of any puzzle, only to jump to either end of the scroll area. If scrolling has to be controlled by JavaScript and not the native browser, please at least give the option to adjust the scroll speed. Also, pressing shift + scrolling up/down for horizonal scrolling feels very uncomfortable on an Apple track pad, which supports natural left/right scrolling.
Please add somewhere I can see my user statistics. Like how many of each type I have completed, total coins earned, total spent, maybe even total filled squares. Also, various site rankings could be fun. Also, does this post imply there is a forum somewhere? If so, how do we access it?
It would be great if they added a timer to show how long it takes to complete a nonogram.
I was literally in the middle of working on a puzzle when the changes occurred. I had it on my browser tab and going to it between working and other things. I noticed it was not saving when I clicked the button and when I refreshed, it was gone. It would be nice to be able to access my completed and formerly saved puzzles. Other than that minor irritation? I mostly like the new style. I don't see any hints, are there any options to re-instate those? Or are they here still and I just don't see them? The reason I pick this site over the others online is the ability to scroll. If I have to zoom in and scroll, the numbers stay visible and I am VERY glad that is still present. Thank you for keeping it!
I'd like to see the old interface where you could classify the type of nonogram based on its shape. If I remember correctly, they were categorized as symbols, animals, objects, people, etc.
We have added an advanced search in the catalog
Are you going to reinstate the leaderboards?
It looks like all of my progress was deleted, even though I signed in. Either because there are new puzzles, or it is all just gone, i dont know. But I like the new UI!
When I open the puzzles they are not centered on the page, which is minor but frustrating
The new site is more attractive, easier to navigate, and much faster. Thank you! I would like to be able to filter by just size so I can see black & white and colored of a given size in the same list. I also wonder if these are new puzzles or if previous completion progress has been lost from the old site. I thought I already finished all the micro sized puzzles but now I find a lot marked unsolved here.
I would like to be able to see how many puzzles are in the group I am looking at. For example, if I select unsolved, colored, small, how many puzzles are in that group? display on the page
I would like to be able to sort based on rating.
1) Please add back error and hints. The current tip function is practically useless given it just tells you that there are errors but don't show you where. 2) When working on a bigger puzzle, I cannot see the numbers the column or row once I scroll too far like I could on the older site. The option for being able to see the numbers right next to my cursor is helpful but it just disappears when I make a continuous line and reappears when I stop.
Also, I wish that the black and white puzzles were easier to switch between black and X's than having to manually change it each time. On another site you click on a box once for black, twice for an X and three time to go back to blank, so you don't have to move your hand so much.
I like most of the changes but wish 2 things were different: 1) New puzzles don't seem to fully save when solved, even if you hit the save button before returning to the menu. Two I finished are showing they are partially saved even though I finished and saved. 2) I wish there was a way to move on to your next puzzle without having to return to the menu each time. (Unless there is and I'm missing it...?)
Is there a way to save your gameplay settings? Whenever I start a new browser session I have to turn off the "Automatically show errors..." and unpin the left corner.
The line counter has been breaking when I go over already filled in blocks. At its worst it’s been going like [1, 2, 3, 5, 14] or something along those lines (the numbers change depending on the puzzle obviously). It’s about 50/50 if it works or doesn’t work. No, I am not confusing it with the distance to the edge of the puzzle, as I have that turned off. Please check your code for a bug because I think there is one
please add back where it would automatically count how many blocks you put in when doing a line on the field.
Scrolling is far too slippery. When I tick the scroll wheel even once it takes almost 5 seconds to stop moving and settle down. I can't place pixels during that time if I don't want to accidentally misplace them (which I don't) so I'm basically forced to wait before I can start playing again. It's super annoying in big puzzles.
It would be great to be able to print the nonograms, either complete or just fillable. estaría genial poder imprimir los nonogramas sean completos o para completar
Estaría genial para crear un nonograma en la paleta de colores, poder colocar el codigo del color
It would be great to be able to create a nonogram in the color palette, to be able to place the color code.
How does my monogram get added to the catalog.
I had a few saved puzzles that had all progress erased when the site switched to the new version. Is there a way to get these back?
Seems like the first puzzle I complete in a new day doesn't register properly. When the puzzle is finished it is detected but it doesn't give me the option to rate. When I refresh the page the puzzle is usually complete and I can unmark/mark a square and get the prompt to rate but even sometimes the puzzle is reset in the morning. This is frustrating for long puzzles that I let sit overnight.
Missing the daily challenge would do that at work at end to blow of steam
I would like to be notified if someone comments on a message I have sent here.
Please allow us to change the color of the X's They're very faint and a little hard to see
I used the feature to spend coins and check errors all the time to start puzzles - I could find the correct squares in a line which had a small number of squares and then work out from there. I have a huge number of solved puzzles saved, but without this feature I will probably not continue.
I see the solved and saved games easier now. I don't know if I missed it before or if you just added it in, but love it. One minor improvement to these. I would like to see my Solved games to show the thumbnail of the saved completed shape.
new site looks sleeker but seems to be a bit more resource heavy for me.
